Araceli Ortega-Díaz
Araceli Ortega Díaz is a Researcher in quantitative economics, has taught since she was 21 in different Universities in Mexico and in the UK. Her research and publications relate to quantitative models to assess public policies to reduce poverty and inequality. She has led several national and international projects funded by FAO, European Commission, CEEY, ECLAC, WB, among many. She has long taught econometrics, social programs evaluation, and experimental economics. She is a national researcher Tier 2 (S.N.I. 2), holds a PhD in Economics from Essex University, MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from LSE, MSc in Economics from Colmex and BSc in Actuarial Science from UNAM.
Her lemma is that whatever you do to help vulnerable people today, will increase your wellbeing and the wellbeing of your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We came to this word to have joy, do good and leave a better world for children, be kind.
Araceli is passionate about chocolates, swimming, and travelling, In her trip to Bali wrote this book, inspired in all girls and women she has in statistics, but that came out of the research, in an imaginary way, to share their life ‘stories for you to enjoy.
